Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
Access to clean water and sanitation is fundamental to health, dignity, and community resilience. Climate change and conflict have severely affected water access across Somalia.
WICAP implements WASH programs to improve access to safe water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education nationwide.
Our Objectives:
Increase access to clean and safe water Improve sanitation infrastructure Promote hygiene practices Strengthen climate-resilient water systems
Our Key Activities:
Borehole rehabilitation projects Construction of sanitation facilities Hygiene promotion campaigns School WASH programs Community water management training.
Expected Impact:
Healthier communities with improved access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services.
